Workout #2

So today I did twenty minutes on the ERG, and then a twenty minute run. If you’ve never seriously erged before, you’ve never experience pain in a workout. The erg is a machine that was made to break athletes. I pulled twenty minutes at a 2:00 split with l3 resistance. Pretty weak. My run was two miles at 10 min miles. I need to be super careful about my patella femoral syndrome that I experienced while training for Westchester – I can feel my knees are sore right now as I write this. I think tomorrow may have to be a day off, or just some basic lifting.

    Dude I would kill to erg a 20-minute piece at 2:00 splits (my PR is 2:02.5). Sometimes I wish I had a Y chromosome, all that extra testosterone would come in handy at times…
